Klunk to Host Free Document-Shredding Event

May 5, 2025

HARRISBURG—Rep. Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) is hosting a free document-shredding event for residents of the 169th District on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event will be held in front of Arthur Hufnagel Public Library of Glen Rock, 32 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327. Attendees must enter from State Route 216 (Main Street) and exit on Water Street.

“Now that tax season has wrapped up, I am happy to provide an opportunity for my constituents to safely dispose of documents containing their personal information, like their Social Security number, credit card information, and more,” said Klunk. “Sadly, scammers exploit the information found on personal documents. By shredding unneeded paperwork, we can better protect ourselves from becoming victims of scams and identity theft. I am looking forward to seeing many friends and neighbors utilize this free service.”

The event is limited to residential customers only (no businesses). Please remove any paper or binder clips prior to the event, staples are permitted.

For questions about this event, please call Klunk’s office at 717-630-8942.
