HANOVER – As part of efforts to ensure all Pennsylvanians have opportunities for success in the working world, Rep. Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) will host the Shippensburg University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for a Small Business Outreach Day event. The event will be held at her office,
118 Carlisle Str., Suite 300, on Thursday, April 4, from noon to 2 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for budding business owners to learn more about what it takes to start and operate a small business and for existing business owners to receive information on how to expand their businesses,” Klunk said. “Best of all, this event is free to attend.”
The SBDC provides no-cost, confidential professional business consulting assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs planning to start a small business. People who need help researching an idea or obtaining funding for a small business, are seeking to grow a business via expansion at a current location or by exploring new markets, need assistance addressing current business challenges or are exploring purchasing an existing business and need to develop a business plan are encouraged to attend.
During the outreach event, attendees will meet with a SBDC representative, ask questions and learn about services offered by the SBDC.
For more information, call Klunk’s office at 717-630-8942.
