Discuss State Issues at Klunk’s Ice Cream Social
July 5, 2017
HANOVER – Residents of Rep. Kate Klunk’s (R-Hanover) legislative district are invited to join her at a free ice cream social and discussion about state issues at Penn Township Community Park, 4601 Grandview Road, on Thursday, July 13, from 6-8 p.m.
“I look forward to meeting with constituents over ice cream and to discuss state-related issues important to them,” Klunk said. “I urge parents to bring their children with them to this family-friendly event. My office will have kids’ games on hand and children can also play on the Kids Kingdom playground at the park.”
The ice cream social is part of an ongoing outreach program called “Where in the District is Kate?” Through this program, Klunk has been holding events across the 169th District to meet with and hear from residents.
“My goal is to connect with as many residents as possible. I know not everyone can make it to my district office in Hanover during normal business hours, so it’s important to me to work around your schedules,” Klunk said.
Future events are in the works and residents are encouraged to go to Klunk’s website, RepKlunk.com, to find out where she will be next.
To RSVP for the ice cream social, call Klunk’s office at (717) 630-8942.
