Klunk Takes Oath of Office for Sixth Term
HARRISBURG — Rep. Kate Klunk (R-Hanover) took the oath of office Tuesday to begin her sixth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. In addition to serving as representative of the 169th District, Klunk will also serve as the Republican chair of the House Children and Youth Committee this session.
For the 2025-26 Legislative Session, Klunk’s priorities include reigning in regulations that are unfriendly to businesses and job creators, fighting against unnecessary tax increases, and improving the quality of life for children and families across the Commonwealth. Her mission as a lawmaker is to ensure state government is efficient, fiscally responsible, and places the needs of its citizens first.
“Every session presents its challenges, but I am energized to continue representing my constituents in southern York County. As always, I am proud to carry their voices from the district to Harrisburg. I am also particularly excited to serve the Commonwealth’s children and families in a new capacity this session. I’m ready to get to work,” said Klunk.
